This Wild Life Photography

Hi, I’m Annie!

This Wild Life Photography is my way of serving the wild ones, the ones who cut their own path, the ones who never settle for less, and for the ones that go the extra mile.

I grew up surrounded by the beauty of Western Washington and the Salish Sea and found my artistic voice behind the lens of a 1970s Minolta film camera. After graduating from Western Washington University with a degree in studio art, I spent the better half of a decade traveling the west in my Honda Element, rock climbing, cold water surfing, and adventuring all while photographing whatever and whoever I could.

With an affinity for wildlife and the habitat they call home, I pursued further education in natural resources management and found myself in northern California working for the Forest Service. Fast forward 5 years and I am pleased to be settled in to the vibrant community of Nevada City, California with my husband (who I met while working for the Forest Service), and our little border collie, Squid.

With This Wild Life Photography, I hope to connect with the community, provide authentic representation of your biggest day, and help you immortalize your wild ideas.
